I Give You Jesus!

What is your need today? I know that when we have a need it is our human tendensy to seek out how to have that need fullfilled in our lifes. I see people around me often who are searching, searching for love, searching for friendship, for understanding, for forgivness. Sometimes they are in search for the basic neccesities of life, food, shelter, clothes. Sometimes they wish they had a father who loved them, a brother who cared, a family to belong to. We as humans search out to have our needs met through a relationship, counseling, goverment programs, perhaps our best friends, our neighbor, our job. But nomatter how hard we search it seems there is always another need waiting to be filled, another aching in our heart that is demanding to be attended to.

Well my friend there is one who can meet EVERY need that you ever have- I give you Jesus!

Do you need a friend?

John 15:15 - Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Do you need a father?

1 John 3:1 - Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Do you need forgivness?

Isaiah 1:18 - Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Do you need rest?

Matthew 11:28 - Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Do you need someone who understands you?

Hebrews 4:15 - For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Are you hungry or thirsty?

Matthew 5:6  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

John 6:35  And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Do you need love?

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Whatever the need Jesus~ I give you JESUS!

Jesus is calling... will you listen?

 

Be Encouraged

This is a song that was in my head this morning right after doing my own personal devotions. God knows just what we need and when we need it. Sometimes I will tell my sister what songs come to me when I am going through some hard trial, and the very song in my head will be something directly related to the trial that I am facing, and it will encourage me and help me. My sister tells me "that's Gods angels  are singing to you" That thought alone comforts me, and I truly believe that God does send His angels to encourage and strengthen us just when we need it most!  I wanted to share this song that was given to me this morning and I hope it might be an encouragment to someone out there who might need some special encouragment from GOD! ;D

       THERE'S A MIRACLE IN THE MAKING

The crowd was great but she knew she had to reach Him.For it was her last hope of ever being healed.

So she pressed through until she touched his garment

Oh, and right then and there, her miracle was fulfilled.

There's a miracle in the making One just for you the Father is working even now. Your prayers have been heard and the answer is on the way There's a miracle in the making for you today!

Have you prayed and prayed and still you find no answer.

Has your faith grown weak and you feel you're all alone?

Don't give up for the God you serve won't leave you.

There's a miracle for you, just keep holding on.

There's a miracle in the making One for you the Father is working even now. Your prayers have been heard and the answer is on the way There's a miracle in the making for you today.

I Sought the Lord and He heard my CRY!

 

There is sometimes an expectation that is put on Christians today that "if you are saved, you should be happy" all the time. It is true that when we are saved we have a PEACE that passes ALL understanding and that when hard times come we do have the answer- we can go to the Lord and "CRY" unto Him and KNOW that He hears, He cares, and He WILL answer according to His will. However, this does not take aways every emotion that we humanly feel. This does not mean that when hard times come I will always feel like jumping and shouting for Joy. But there will be times when I NEED to cry. Thank God we have a Saviour that we can "Cry" unto and He is always near.  Great men of God cryed. The bible says that even "JESUS" wept when he went to see Lazarus in the grave. He was going there to raise Lazarus up from the grave. Jesus knew that Lazarus would rise again, and yet the bible says that Jesus wept! Despite all that He knew, His human emotions came out and Jesus wept because He loved Lazarus! I just want to encourage those who may be going through some hard trial, some great grief, some devestating loss... It is OK to CRY! If you need to cry then let it out. Cry unto the Lord and He will draw nigh. The Bible says

Psalms 34:18

 

The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a CONTRITE spirit.

Psalms 51:17

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a CONTRITE heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

It does not say, if you are saved you better never cry! NO! It says He is near when your heart is broken, when your spirit is broken, when your heart is contrite! If you are sad, cry out to God! He is near and He will comfort you!

2 Samuel 22:7
In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my CRY did enter into his ears.

Psalms 18:6
In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my CRY came before him, even into his ears.

Psalms 61:2
From the end of the earth will I CRY unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Then they CRY unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
